The design for Nordhavn Islands by Danish architects C.F. Møller Landscape proposes a unique space for Copenhagen: an urban park on the water. The site is located in close proximity to Copenhagen’s International School, also designed by C.F. Møller. The park is designed to promote recreational activities in, on and under the water. They will take place on three different round islands, each designed with its own character. The plantings surround the islands and function as a learning landscape at eye level, thus allowing children to explore the Nordhavn Islands and the water safely.
